Brioche Earflap Hat Knitting Pattern – Knitting

I’m not much of a hat person, but I will admit when it’s really cold and you have to be outside, a hat makes it a little less terrible.

An earflap hat is all the better because it provides extra protection from the cold. Make that hat in brioche, which makes it extra warm and fluffy, and you might have the perfect thing to combat the cold.

The Nordik Hat from Jean-Philippe Cliche is worked with three strands of yarn held together to produce a bulky weight yarn, which gives you a chance to play with color and texture (you could also do it with two strands of heavier yarn, or just one of chunky on its own).

The hat comes in three sizes and the pattern is available on Ravelry.
