Quick Teacher Appreciation Candy Jar Gift

Give a teacher appreciation gift they’ll love to receive!  To go along with a container of favorite candy or other treat, I created some printable teacher appreciation candy jar gift labels, along with a tag and card, to show a great teacher some love this year.

With a family full of teachers, I know how important it is to show thanks for all they do every day. I’m a big fan of giving consumable gifts, since no storage is needed. With this teacher appreciation candy jar gift, you can decorate chocolates with printable school-themed candy labels. I know the teachers in my family love to get a note of thanks from a student, so I added a mini-card to the printable sheet so your child can add a note as well.

Our school gives students an idea of a small, consumable gift to bring to class each day during Teacher Appreciation Week.  One day may be a single flower, so the teacher has a bouquet for the classroom all week, another day may be a handwritten note of gratitude or extra supplies for the classroom. 

How to Make a Teacher Appreciation Gift in a Jar

You will need:

• Teacher Appreciation Labels and Tag (Download Below)
• 3/4″ circle punch
• White cardstock and color printer
• Chocolate kisses or other candies
• Wide-mouth canning jar with lid and ring
• Red cardstock
• Glue Dots or double-sided tape

Download and print the teacher appreciation card and candy labels onto white cardstock. Use a 3/4″ circle punch to fit Hershey Kisses, and punch out the school-themed circles.  Then attach the circles to the candy using a simple glue dot or double sided tape.  Fill your small, wide mouth canning jar (or other container) with your decorated candies.

Use the canning jar lid to trace a circle onto red cardstock, cut out the circle and attach to jar lid.  Thread a coordinating dotted ribbon through the hole-punched tag and tie a pretty bow around the lid.
